Park and Ride

By Train

Bristol Temple Meads is the closest main train station, 1.2 miles and a 25-minute walk away from the venue. Alternatively, you can use local buses or an e-scooter to transport you to the venue.

By Local Bus

Several bus services stop a short walk away from the Queens Building: – Services 1, 2, 2a, 8 and 72 all run from Temple Meads train station, services 3 and 4 run from the city centre. Alight at Park Street Top – Service U1 operates term-time only and runs from Stoke Bishop. Alight at Queen’s Avenue. By Bike or E-Scooter

There are racks available for locking up your bike to the right of the gardens by the main entrance. More can be found outside the Merchant Venturers building next door.

Tier e-scooters operate in the Bristol area and are a great way to get around the city. The nearest parking spot is outside the Merchant Venturers building. You will need the app on your phone and a driving licence to use them: www.voi.com.

Event Information

+ On Arrival

Look for us by the TICC banner in the Main Foyer of Wills Memorial Building. We’ll just ask for your name and give you your delegate badge and lanyard. Committee members will be on hand to help you find the conference rooms, which are located on the 3rd floor of the building. A map of the conference rooms can be found above under ‘Venue Map’.

+ Programme for the Day and Timings

The working programme for the day can be found here. Registration will open at 09:00, with the conference beginning in earnest at 09:30. A full conference brochure including presentation names, full abstracts, and a bit about our speakers and workshop facilitators will be released in the week prior to the conference.

Lunch will be served in Room 3.32 to all delegates. We have already asked you for a list of dietary requirements. If there are any changes to what you submitted via the registration form or any other specific requirements you want to mention, please let us know as soon as possible by email at ticc-conference@bristol.ac.uk

Please be kind to other delegates and choose your lunch according to the requirements you advised when you registered.

We would love to share your achievements with the wider medical education community, so our event photographer will be on site capturing the events of the day.
